Le Bouchon is a popular little French bistro with good food and a friendly staff. Le Patron can often be found sitting outside muttering about the new 'no smoking' regulations. The menus are on blackboards featuring both the regular, and a special menu and the food is typically French with very little consideration given to the location. It usually always full of Frenchmen. They do a very good terrine and another of my favourites is the ox tongue in a parsley sauce. I have had many a happy meal here, often sitting at the bar.

Le Patron is not sitting outside muttering about the no smoking regulations. He is inside with all his mates sitting around smoking while the rest of us try to eat....last night (4/7) was particularly bad.
Good food and a good staff except they are terrified to do anything about the chain smoking French. What is it about these people that they arrogantly ignore the rules? I do not want second hand smoke while I eat. They can kill themselves not me. The rules are the rules - the smokers can go outside and add to Bangkok's pollution. The staff thought my protests were a big joke.
